i saw an ad in the train in paris which was rather interesting, it translated to something a little like this "she had everything she needed to succeed in her studies, the best school, her own study room, money, but she was missing one thing, her parents didnt have believe/faith/trust in her"

this ad wasnt selling anything at all, it wasnt about a school or the latest i.t equipment it was simply a psychological message saying that even without the material things we think we need to do well we can succeed and prosper in life as long as we have someone that believes in us, unfortunatly there is no word in english that describes the word in used in french to describe a combination of faith, trust and belief.

i thought this was a great ad because it applies not only to a child succeeding in school but to all aspects of life even relationships, just think about that and how it might change things if you didnt believe in someone or if your missing that how that would change things for you.
